Pics2Sprites Instructions
Instructions for use: Use the 3D program of your choice to create a
36-frame PICS-format animation of your ship (or weapon, etc) spinning
clockwise, starting out facing straight up. Be sure to force your 3D
program to save each frame separately, not just the changes between
frames. (in Infini-D, uncheck the "Crop to differences in frame" box)
Then, open Pics2Sprites and have it open up the PICS file you just
created. Type in the sprite size and the X and Y dimensions of your tile
matrix (you'll have to also type these values into the 'spin' resource
for your sprites, so remember them) and hit OK. Pics2Sprites will work
for a second and then beep and quit. If everything was successful, you
should have your tiled sprites waiting for you in the clipboard.
*Note: Pics2Sprites will *not* work properly in anything but 8-bit.
